Formed in only 1999, the name of Pennine Brass is a well-established name in the world of brass banding, synonymous with high-class concert performances and numerous contest victories. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, the band attained Championship Section status in 2002 after being crowned French Open Champions in 2001.
This autumn has seen them take first prize in the Harry & Margaret Mortimer Memorial Championship Section at Pontins in Prestatyn.

Dedicated players, a management team and musical direction have achieved all this from a position of zero assets. With the band now on a firm foundation they seek to mix the traditional aspects of brass banding with more modern, varied and adventurous projects.

The Band can cater for many different musical requirements
From the traditional 'Brassed Off' concert performance, to lighter & more modern concerts and theme specific performances, the band have something for any event. In being able to provide groups from as few as four players up to the full twenty-five, the band is able to cater for all occasions; from large concert halls, to corporate entertainment & outside venues to any challenging event put to them!
